Myers-Briggs Type Indicators

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator test (MBTI) is based on the work of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist. It provides a useful measure of personality, by evaluating eight personality preferences that all people use at different times. When the indicator is taken, the four preferences that you identify as most like you, are combined into what is called a TYPE.

The MBTI functions as a tool that helps people in organisations to:-

• Understand themselves and their behaviours
• Appreciate others so as to make constructive use of individual differences
• See that approaching problems in different ways can be healthy and productive for an organisation

It's very easy to use, making it an excellent tool for development, particularly within a team environment.
